A team was chosen by us from across to represent all of Canada at the FBU All-American Youth Championship. Young athletes competed for a spot on the team and had an experience of a lifetime. Some got to continue their student athlete journey as NCAA scholarship athletes at the D1 level.
With a great team and world class coaching, the Canadian team won a hard fought battle to claim Canada's first and only FBU youth football championship.
Our beginnings followed the same mission; support student athletes in their dreams. We provide camps and combines to introduce, develop, and educate young athletes to the opportunities that sport provides. Whether for fun or a scholarship, sports provides an avenue to keep youth focused and motivated while also providing life skills to help them in the real world.
Competition is tough, but also fun. We employ the Long Term Athlete Development Program, along with physical and mental literacy to ensure athletes are ready to compete at their highest level while having fun!
Alex Fontana (Toronto) was hand picked by us to be the first Canadian player in this esteemed game. He had the opportunity to block for future Super Bowl running back, Sony Michel and set the path to a scholarship to Houston and being drafted by the Hamilton TiCats.
This video explains football positions and their responsibilities. Keep in mind this is American Football so Canadian Football adds one more position to each Offense and Defense (12 men a side vs. 11)
